《英國廣播公司》（BBC）報導，來自印度拉賈斯坦邦、曾主演過《少年PI的奇幻漂流》、《貧民百萬富翁》和《侏羅紀世界》等知名電影的男星伊凡・卡漢（Irrfan Khan），29日在孟買加護病房內病逝，享年53歲。

這位在印度寶萊塢（Bollywood）電影界闖出名聲，並轉往好萊塢發展的傳奇影星，2018年經檢驗後、發現罹患罕見的內分泌腫瘤（endocrine tumour），從此長時間接受治療。

印度男星卡漢在2013年亞太電影大獎上，奪下最佳男主角獎。（湯森路透）

卡漢來自印度穆斯林家庭，長大後搬家至孟買的他，開始進入印度電視圈，接演多部電視劇和主持節目。

生前留下作品眾多，台灣觀眾比較熟悉的莫過於《少年PI的奇幻漂流》（Life of Pi）、《貧民百萬富翁》（Slumdog Millionaire）和《侏羅紀世界》（Jurassic World）三部電影，卡漢也在2013年亞太影展上，獲頒特別成就獎；並在同一年亞洲電影大獎上，以印度電影《美味情書》奪下最佳男主角獎。

他與作家妻子Sutapa Sikdar結縭多年，兩人育有兩子。
